How to set up an NFC Google Review card
A WiredWebsite NFC Google Review card turns a single tap into a Google review. Here's how to activate one, program it with your business's review link, and start collecting more reviews today.
1. Find your Google review link
Sign in to your Google Business Profile, open the Reviews tab and click Get more reviews. Copy the short link — it looks like g.page/r/.... This is the URL your card will open when a customer taps it.
2. Install an NFC writer app
On Android, install NFC Tools (free on the Play Store). On iPhone, use the built-in Shortcuts app or the iOS version of NFC Tools. Any modern phone from the last few years supports writing to NFC tags.
3. Write your review link to the card
Open the writer app, choose Write → Add a record → URL/URI, paste the Google review link, then hold the NFC card flat against the back of your phone. The app will confirm when the write is complete — usually in under a second.
4. Lock the card (optional)
If you want to make sure the link can't be overwritten by curious customers, use the Lock tag option in NFC Tools. This is permanent, so double-check the URL first.
5. Test it, then put it to work
Tap the card against any modern phone. Your Google review page should open instantly — no app install needed. Place cards by the till, on tables, or in packaging, and prompt customers with a simple line like "Tap to leave us a Google review."
